I've done scratch art before but it was back in 8th grade and not that detailed. I liked this project because I got to challenge myself by "coloring the lights" instead of the darks like most types of drawing. It was really easy to get the fur texture of the rabbit because I got to make the highlighted fur stand out more and the darkness of the unscratched places have the fur texture good depth.
The grass was the most frustrating part of this project because it took awhile to do and I had to be carful not to make the grass blades too wide or not even with the others because then it would make the whole piece look bad. I started out making all the grass solid white but then noticed I needed depth too so I started making darker pieces of grass by not scratching them out as much.
